Anderlecht want ten million euros for Cobbaut

TRANSFERS Anderlecht have wants the jackpot for Elias Cobbaut. The interest for the defender is growing and the Purple & White is willing to talk about a transfer. The wanted transfer fee: ten million euros.


Cobbaut started the season with difficulty, but partly due to injuries from other defenders, he grew to a fixed value in the back. Due to the absence of Jan Vertonghen and Thomas Vermaelen, he made his debut as a Red Devil in November. Anderlecht now hopes to cash for him.

RSCA paid three million euros for Cobbaut a year and a half ago. However, not everyone within the club is convinced of his potential. A transfer is therefore negotiable, certainly for a nice amount.

If interested clubs like Sheffield United or Atalanta want to put ten million euros on the table, Cobbaut will be in the top ten most expensive outgoing transfers in the entire club history.
