Not Copenhagen, but Malmö for Thelin

TRANSFERS Isaac Kiese Thelin has fpund a new club. Het Laatste Nieuws knows that Anderlecht will lend the Swede to Malmö in his home country for the rest of the season. The loan also includes an option to purchase.


Thelin still has a contract with Anderlecht until mid 2022, but has to leave. Before the winter break, he came into action twelve times, of which only twice in the starting eleven. The 27-year-old striker scored once: in the cup at Beerschot. Het Nieuwsblad knows that Paderborn also wanted to bring in Thelin, but it will be Malmö.

In 2014, Thelin played for Malmö for six months. From there he went to Bordeaux and then to Anderlecht. Malmö finished the Swedish competition in second place. With Behrang Safari and Guillermo Molins, two players with an Anderlecht past are already playing there.
