New penalty for behaviour supporters

OTHER Anderlecht have once again received a fine for misconduct by supporters. The Purple & White now have to pay 2.500 euros for fans who lit a smoke pot during the match of 3 November against Cercle Brugge. The fact that this is the umpteenth incident this year means that Anderlecht have to pay the full fine.


The smoke pot had no influence on the normal course of the match, but there is a zero tolerance policy with regard to such matters. The Disputes Committee pointed out that since February of this year, Anderlecht have already received seven convictions for similar facts. That is why the federal body decided to confirm the requested sanction of 2,500 euros fine
