Serious injury for new player Kompaore

INJURIES Bad luck for Nathanio Junior Kompaore, the young, newest addition to Anderlecht. The 18-year-old striker from Burkino Faso has sustained a serious injury to the cruciate ligaments and will be on the sidelines for months.


Anderlecht have had an eye on the striker, who is international for his country, and the player was recently attracted. In the first instance, Anderlecht wanted to give him time to adjust at the U21, but now an operation on the cruciate ligaments is destroying these plans.

Kompaore therefore joins the long list of injured players.
