Anderlecht 15th best trainer in Europe

YOUTH No less than 47 professional football players from the 31 largest competitions in Europe come from the training of Anderlecht.  The CIES Football Observatory investigated this.  This makes Anderlecht the 15th best trainer.

Anderlecht makes a nice jump forwards.  Compared to last year, there are nine more players who moved on from the training to the professional football player.  The Kompany effect.

 Partizan Belgrade is the number 1 youth academy with 75 professional football players.  It pushes Ajax off the throne.  The people of Amsterdam count 72. Then Sporting Lisbon (63), Dinamo Kiev (62) and Dinamo Zagreb (60) follow.

 From Belgium, Standard (32) and Racing Genk (29) are also in the top fifty.

 To determine who their own youth is, the CIES used the definition of UEFA.  Training clubs are clubs where football players have played for at least three years between the ages of 15 and 21
