Kayembe makes his debut, Sanneh saves Gambia

GAMES Edo Kayembe (photo) has made his debut for the national team of Congo. In the friendly match against Algeria, he replaced Standard player Paul-José Mpoku in the final minutes. Bubacarr Sanneh was also successful. He scored an important goal for Gambia.


In Africa, Gambia and Djibouti have to decide among themselves who can take the last place in group D in the qualification round for the Africa Cup 2021. The first match in Djibouti was on Wednesday evening. Gambia was 1-0 behind, but in the 90th minute Sanneh headed the 1-1 against the ropes. The return game will follow on Sunday.
