Brazilian top talent on the radar

TRANSFERS The Brazilian press mentions a possible (temporary) transfer from the Brazilian super talent Lincoln Corrêa dos Santos to Anderlecht. Reportedly, Mancester City made a bid of 10 million euros this summer for the 18-year-old Brazilian striker of Flamengo. City wanted to lend Lincoln to Anderlecht, so that he could get a taste of European football.


However, it did not come to a transfer. But City doesn't give up, since they want to make another attempt in January to bring Lincoln to Europe. Lincoln is a Brazilian youth international and almost impossible for Anderlecht with a view to a definitive transfer. That is precisely why lending could be a good solution for all parties.

Lincoln extended his contract with the Brazilian top club until 2023 last March. A surrender clause of € 45 million was included in the contract. That is why it is somewhat strange that The Citizens launched a bid that is far below that price.
