"We stay behind our philosophy"

INTERVIEWS The pressure is big at RSC Anderlecht, no one will deny that. Yet everyone continues to believe in the project and they knew from the beginning that their philosophy was going to need time, but they have underestimated that time a bit, Simon Davies admits. There is now an urgent need for points.


Does Davies fear for his job? "You should ask that question to the management and not to me. It is a legitimate question of course, because taking points is part of my job as a trainer", is Davies honest.

"That does not alter the fact that we do not continue to support our philosophy. We knew it was going to be difficult, but we did not think it would take that long. But once we get going, we will be able to handle every team."
