Verhaeghe: "I want Anderlecht to do well"

INTERVIEWS Club Brugge is currently the leading club in Belgian football. Chairman Bart Verhaeghe worked hard for ten years on the way up. At Anderlecht, Vincent Kompany must now do the same. Verhaeghe believes that Kompany and Anderlecht should continue on the chosen path.

"You will be shocked, but I want Anderlecht to do well", Verhaeghe says. "The arrival of Kompany is good for the Belgian competition. It provides extra appeal abroad. Anderlecht must continue to work on its plan in confidence."
