U12 win tournament in Bulgaria

YOUTH The U12 of Anderlecht have won the Lukoil Cup in Plovdiv (Bulgaria). In the final they were far too strong for the Romanian Steaua Bucharest. Although that did not translate into the score, the Purple & White won with only 1-0 after a far free kick by Romain Colans.


The U12 will leave this tournament without a loss match. In the group stage they were too strong for Botev (2-3), Steaua Bucharest (3-1), Red Star Belgrade (1-2) and Spartak Moscow (2-1). In the quarterfinals they beat Besiktas with 1-0. In the semi-final Inter was beaten with 3-0.
