Anderlecht count on Sambi Lokonga as number six

INJURIES The supporters have been calling on social media for a while to get Lucas Biglia back. The chance is very small that this will happen, despite the disappointing performance of Peter Zulj at number six. RSC Anderlecht is counting on Albert Sambi Lokonga to take that position.


Lokonga tore the cruciate ligaments last season and had to recover for a few months. In the meantime, he is training partly with the group, but he is not yet fully fit to play. The club also doesn't want to force anything and gives him the necessary time to get back to the required level. But it is clear that Purple & White is counting on him for the number six position.

Until then, Zulj is still in midfield because Anderlecht is not going to get reinforcement at that position. That way there is also more money available to attract a striker.
