Four Anderlecht players in action during the first European Championsh

GAMES - YOUTH The Belgian U21 have lost their first match at the European Championships with 3-2 against Poland. Elias Cobbaut started the game as the only player of Anderlecht. Yari Verschaeren (63 '), Francis Amuzu (80') and Alexis Saelemaekers (90 ') were allowed to come in. Sebastiaan Bornauw remained on the bench.
 


Belgium took the lead in fifteen minutes via former Anderlecht striker Aaron Leya Iseka. Poland then went on to 3-1. When Dion Cools headed in a corner from Dodi Lukebakio, both also ex-Anderlecht, eight minutes before the end, it became a little exciting. The equalizer did not come anymore.
