Van Holsbeeck: "We have to assist Broos"

Coach Hugo Broos still has the confidence of the board. But manager Van Holsbeeck wants to "help" the trainer. Also secretarian Collin agrees with that solution. But what does that mean?


"We are going to assist our trainer", Philippe Collin explained. "This means we'll monitor his actions and help him on trainings."
Manager Herman Van Holsbeeck confirmed this while watching over the trainings. "We are not going to fire him, only assist him. We have to support each other. The abscence of some important players for the game on Bremen is not an excuse for the defeat. We have to analyse our objectives now."

Hugo Broos himself refused to reply. "I don't want to answer your questions, so I'll be quiet for now", was the only thing he said.

Also Pär Zetterberg wanted to react: "We don't have to get rid of the trainer", he said. "Some players are not following the technical guidelines. So Hugo Broos has to talk with those players about that issue. Every one has to do what they are supposed to do. We have fallen deeply..."
