GAMES Anderlecht will not play European for the first time in 56 years next season. Purple & White lost with 2-1 against AA Gent yesterday and thus finishes last in Play-Off 1. Ghent can still hope to be the number five in European football if KV Mechelen is excluded due to match fixing

To make things worse, Trebel fell out after a quarter of an hour with an injury. Before the break it was all Ghent, but it could not deepen the score.
