Peersman made a new mistake (a bad pass resulted in a goal for Lokeren), but he doesn't think that will jeopardise his position with Anderlecht and in the national team.

Peersman: "I made a mistake, yes. But I wasn't the only one. Some players didn't do their jobs either. But every mistake I made is being enlarged. The press is exaggerating."

Hugo Broos already announced that his goalkeeper can't afford to make more of those mistakes.
Peersman: "No one can when playing for Anderlecht. I'm not the only one who makes mistakes. Fieldplayers do too, but the consequences aren't that bad when they miss."

So how is it possible that such a fine goalkeeper makes that many mistakes? Maybe it is because of his personal problems (his wife has pregnancy problems)?
Peersman: "I don't want to hide behind my personal situation. It's hard, yes, but I can't do anything to make it better. So I can as well focus on football."
