No Africa Cup U23 for Kayembe

YOUTH The African Football Association has excluded the Congolese team U23 from the qualifying round for the upcoming Africa Cup. The Congolese get this punishment because they deployed a player who was too old. No Africa Cup U23 this summer for Edo Kayembe and his mates.


Congo eliminated Rwanda and Morocco in the first two qualifying rounds. At the beginning of June it would play against Mali in the third and final round. Morocco is now taking this place.
