INTERVIEWS Yannick Bolasie was the best man on the field against Club Brugge. But his unparalleled actions did not earn points. "We handed out too many gifts to have a chance of winning", it sounds harsh but realistic.

"Before the break I had a déjà vu. The first goal was almost a copy of the one in Genk. I have never seen our coach as angry in the dressing room as during the break. Rightly so," Bolasie says. "We also knew that it had to be better and we did that after the break. Then we showed a different face and we fought ourselves completely in the game. That way we always have to start."

"The fact that we didn't lose at home against Club Brugge since 1998 makes it extra hard. We are very disappointed, also because we were good after the break and had opportunities. There were plenty of strong moments."

"I should have scored"

Bolasie played on an unusual place for him. He was satisfied with his own performance, but not entirely. "I should have scored, maybe even a few times. The efficiency was lacking and I have to work on that. But I have tried to play out my qualities and I think I succeeded."
