"Compliment that they see us as title candidate"

INTERVIEWS RSC Anderlecht had to wait to qualify for play-off until the penultimate day of the regular season. Coach Fred Rutten thinks it is funny that they are now named as title candidate, although on the other hand it is also a nice compliment.
 


Remarkably, Rutten is putting Club Brugge forward as the number one candidate for the title: "Genk was good too, but I choose Bruges based on their performances."

"I sometimes find it funny that you suddenly see us as the winner of the play-offs," the coach continues, "A few weeks ago you saw us ending up in play-off 2. Although it is a nice compliment too. It shows that we have made an evolution. But for us too it is now again ten finals that we will watch from week to week. "
