No sporty penalty for gambling for Deschacht and Musona

OTHER Olivier Deschacht and Knowlege Musona (then at Ostend) do not receive any sports penalty from the Football Association for gambling on their own matches. After all, the facts are barred. The Gaming Commission imposed fines on them earlier.


The latest proven facts date from 2013. The time limit of the Belgian Association is two years for such missteps.

In February the court sentenced Deschacht to a fine of 24,000 euros. Musona came off with 3,000 euros at the time. His amount is lower because he did not bet on a defeat of his club, which Deschacht did.
