No European Championship U19 for Verschaeren and co

YOUTH The Belgian U19 have not been able to qualify for the European Championships this summer. The young Devils lost 2-5 to Ukraine and thus finish after group winner Italy. Anderlecht player Yari Verschaeren didn't play, as he is already back in Anderlecht.


Verschaeren only played in the first of the three games in the elite round (2-2 against Italy). He then returned to Belgium to prepare for the play-offs with Anderlecht.

Lucas Lissens and Thierry Lutonda played the entire game yesterday afternoon. Theo Leoni came in three minutes before time.
