After they were able to avoid a crisis, Van Holsbeeck can concentrate again on the policy of the team. After some obstacles in the beginning, he feels well now in Anderlecht.

The Anderlect-manager's biggest concern is to take care that Anderlecht are able to keep up with the highest level in the future. The Belgian football is decreasing more and more, in comparison with the teams in Eastern Europe.
Rumours say that the Mauves have reached their financial top, but Van Holsbeeck thinks there are other ways to keep our football competitive.

"We are on rank 147 on the European ranking of team budgets. We lose some ranks every year. If Eastern European teams keep developing like this, we will be on the 200th rank very soon. It's time for all Belgian teams to work together. If we don't do anything now, we will reach a level that seems impossible at the moment. All the small countries are developing and increase their playing level and budget, we don't. Roger Vanden Stock saw what's happening in the Uefa, and he warned us. He tries to improve some things via the Belgian Football Federation and the Profliga, because we don't adjust our structures, there will be total chaos sooner or later.
Foreign teams founded a business club for business people for example, and they founded a number of organisations for season-ticket holders. Because of that, the budget of PSV Eindhoven is twice as big as ours. Why wouldn't we be abme to do that too?
We also want to increase our sportsmanlike possibilities, but we are waiting for money of the city of Brussels."
