"Aruna would leave during the winter break? That's nonsense. That's just the reaction of a player who goes through an emotional process", says Hugo Broos.

"It's too bad that Aruna doesn't get any credit from the fans. He meant a lot to Anderlecht the last few years I think..."

"Aruna is very quiet in the locker room", confirms Glen De Boeck.
"That's logical", says Broos. "He realises he doesn't play like he is supposed to. But it's the first time the fans don't support him."

Broos also stated he doesn't think Trimpont's reaction is appropriate.
"It's not appropriate he reacts like that", says Anderlecht-coach Hugo Broos. "Our Golden Shoe saved us, with his two goals against Genk. This was the moment to bring some rest in the whole situation around Aruna, not to bring the whole conflict back to life. But he can learn from this situation."

Also manager Van Holsbeeck has the same opinion: "In Madrid, they yell at the players with 100.000 at a time. That's part of the game. Maybe the manager wants to increase the pressure."
