"Gave assist with my last energy"

INTERVIEWS The header goal of Yannick Bolasie came after a beautiful action and cross by Yari Verschaeren. The 17-year-old didn't have much energy left, but in the last minutes he did a nice action.


"I was already tired but where I got the ball I was in a nice position. With my last energy I kicked the cross. I had no idea that Bolasie could jump so high, but he did and he headed the ball inside, "Verschaeren explains.

"This was my first official assist and probably even more important than my goal, but in terms of feeling I'm going for my goal, Kums and I really had to fight, we were constantly followed. Then going home with the three points to go home is an even better feeling ", says Verschaeren.
