INTERVIEWS Sven Kums was the captain against Standard. He saw a good first half in which he brought his team back in the game with a nice goal from free kick.

"We were prepared for the first twenty minutes of Standard, we also took good care of them and played with confidence, it was actually a bit against the game in that Standard took the lead," said Kums after the game, "Yes, I scored a nice goal, but in the end it did not give us anything and that is regrettable."

Anderlecht swallowed another counter-goal and eventually lost 2-1: "Our second half was not good, we stacked up the mistakes, and our block gradually fell apart. Standard put higher pressure and we had a hard time with that", explains Kums, "But I'm still positive, our performance is on the rise, we were one-half good today, next week there should be two."

Fifteen minutes before the end, Yannick Bolasie came in. "We have seen today that Bolasie can teach the team something and we will be able to use his speed", concludes Kums.
