Beveren gets a postponement for Roef

TRANSFERS Normally, Waasland-Beveren has until Thursday, January 31, the time to lift the option on Davy Roef. However, the Waaslanders asked Anderlecht for a postponement. And they got that. Until one week after the thirtieth matchday, Beveren now has the time to take over Roef definitively.


They would really like to keep Roef. As soon as it is certain that they can stay in the first division, Roef can sign a contract with Waasland-Beveren on 'Anderlecht conditions'.

Roef himself does not want to return to Anderlecht, where he is still under contract for one year. Another first division team would also show interest in the meantime.
