Hans Vanaken wins Golden Boot

OTHER Hans Vanaken won the Golden Boot on Wednesday night. The midfielder of Club Brugge won before Mehdi Carcela and Alejandro Pozuelo. For the first time in sixty years, no Anderlecht player reached the top ten. Adrien Trebel finished with four points on a shared eleventh place.


Club Brugge dominated the gala. Ivan Leko was elected coach of the year and Wesley Moraes promise of the year. Siebe Schrijvers scored the most beautiful goal of 2018.

Furthermore, Tessa Wullaert won the Golden Shoe with the women and Eden Hazard was the best Belgian abroad. Lovre Kalinic was voted best goalkeeper of the last year.
