Youth product Bukasa finds shelter at Bochum

TRANSFERS A half year after he closed the door of Neerpede behind him, Xavier Bukasa has found a new club. The 18-year-old midfielder signs a contract for two years with the German second division team Bochum.


Anderlecht took over Bukasa from White Star Woluwe in the summer of 2017. However, he did not succeed in convincing the Anderlecht coaches and last summer he had to leave again. Since then, Bukasa was without a club, waiting for the right train to pass.

That has become Bochum. Bukasa will train with the first team. "Bochum gives me confidence, which is why I chose them", Bukasa tells to our French-speaking editors.
