Bruma and Afellay? A clickbait

TRANSFERS Several websites try to give the impression that Fred Rutten wants to get footballers Jeffrey Bruma and Ibrahim Afellay to Anderlecht. That is (for now) not true. This is a good example of how some websites make their own story.


During the press moment, Rutten was asked whether Afellay and Bruma, players with whom he had worked in the past and are now sidetracked by Stoke and Wolfsburg respectively, are potential reinforcements for this winter. Rutten did not go into the names, but simply answered "we will quickly sit together and see where we need to strengthen the team".
