"First a new trainer and then transfers"

INTERVIEWS As long as no new trainer have been appointed, no transfers have to be expected at RSC Anderlecht. Frank Arnesen and Michael Verschueren first want to sit around the table with the new T1 to see which priorities there are during the winter mercato.


"It is useless to bring in players who the trainer then does not consider necessary", both Arnesen and Verschueren want to avoid such a scenario.

"It is important and necessary to have good communication with the trainer at all times", continues Arnesen, who points out that the appointment of a new trainer remains the first priority.

Verschueren, together with the sports staff, has already looked at which positions there should be reinforcement. Who those reinforcements ultimately will be, will lie with Arnesen and the new trainer. They will ultimately decide which transfers will be made.
