Anderlecht lost again in the Champions League. This time Bremen beat the Mauves with a 1-2 score. Anderlecht didn't play a bad game though, but was unlucky on the crucial moments.

Trainer Broos started in a 3-4-1-2 formation: with 3 defenders and with Baseggio and Zetterberg in the team.

Anderlecht started good and pushed Bremen back. The Germans could restore the balance in the game, but after 35 minutes Wilhelmsson opened the score: 1-0.

The three defenders didn't know what to do with the attack waves of the German club. Klose missed, but Klasnic scored after a mistake of Zitka. In the second half, Klasnic doubled the score after a nice combination: 1-2.

Anderlecht tried to equalise, but all chances were missed. Aruna had tha best one. Also Iachtchouk was brought in for Hasi, without any success.
