Anderlecht with Zitka and Mpenza

Anderlecht will play without goalkeeper Peersman in the game against Werder Bremen. That news was confirmed by Hugo Broos. Peersman couldn't train on Monday and he was abscent on Tuesday too due to personal reasons.


"Zitka will play on Wednesday. It's not yet sure who'll defend our goal next Sunday against Genk", said Broos.

Also 3rd goalkeeper Jan Van Steenberghe is not fit yet. That way Kevin Van den Noortgaete (18) will be on the bench. "Jan will take some last tests on training, but I think he won't be ready", said Broos.

Mbo Mpenza on the other hand will be ready to play.
"I don't feel any pain. I ran a few laps and could train. I'm fit.", said Mpenza. "I'm glad that I can play against Werder and I'll try to play one of my best games ever."
