OTHER Anderlecht will invite Aimé Anthuenis and Marc Hendrikx for tomorrow's game against Racing Genk. Around the turn of the century, both were successful at both Racing Genk and Anderlecht.

Anthuenis guided Genk in 1996 from second to first class. Two years later he won the Cup of Belgium and a year later he made Genk for the first time champion. That earned him a transfer to Anderlecht. As coach of Anderlecht, he won two titles and two Supercups in three years. In 2000-2001 he also led the Purple & White to the second round of the Champions League. That year Anderlecht beat PSV, Dinamo Kiev, Manchester United, Lazio Roma and Real Madrid.

Hendrikx played for Genk from 1996 to 2001. He won the Belgian Cup and one national title twice. In 2001 the coach got his poulain to Anderlecht. Especially in his first season in the Astridpark Hendrikx was successful. In the two years that followed, he was usually on the bench. After the national title in 2004 he left for Lokeren. In total, Hendrikx played 97 games for the Purple & White in which he scored eleven times
