Belgian U19 to elite round for European Championship

YOUTH The Belgian U19 are placed for the elite round of the European Championship 2019 after a 2-2 draw against France. Anderlecht player Thierry Lutonda was in the starting eleven with the young Devils. Mohammed Bouchouari fell in after 82 minutes. Theo Leoni stayed on the bench.


A total of 28 countries go to the elite round. It is played in seven groups of four countries. The group winners will compete with host Armenia for the European Championships in July. On 6 December the boys of national coach Jacky Matthijssen know their opponents.
