INTERVIEWS Hein Vanhaezebrouck saw his team go under again against Fenerbahçe. The coach is disillusioned but does not blame his team, even though there is still work to do. Because his Anderlecht just weighed too light to make the difference in Europe.

Vanhaezebrouck is very enthusiastic about the football itself: "In fact, we were never really played away completely in these four games, we simply owe it to ourselves, and we can look back on a good game where we have seen a lot of control and ball circulation. Only we do not finish our chances and we also created too little, and then the two countergoals fall and you see us collapse, which is actually the only thing I can blame my boys. Otherwise they went for it."

"It's actually always the same story," continues the coach, "We always give it away ourselves, the football itself is ok, but the results do not follow, the proof that we still have to grow.

"And now the remaining two games, we are mainly going to try to score points, I will certainly not compile a B-team, I want to save our face and serve the Belgian coefficient, and we owe it to the public and ourselves."
