INJURIES We would almost forget him, but how is Elias Cobbaut doing? On matchday three he fell out with an ankle injury. The prognosis: six weeks out. In the meantime we are ten weeks further and he is not playing yet. What is going on?

Two weeks ago Alain De Nil, the manager of Cobbaut, told Bruzz that a treatment with ice led to burns. "When he injured himself, too much ice was put on the ankle, which caused a second-degree burn, which now needs extra treatment", it sounded.

He did not want to repeat those statements against Het Laatste Nieuws. The Nil referred to Anderlecht and it sounds like "Cobbaut's recovery is proceeding as it should - prospered". In the corridors the newspaper learned that the burns are not the main cause of Cobbaut's slow recovery. The injury was more complicated than initially thought.

After Cobbaut went through a mental valley, he is now training again. "Putting a date on his return is difficult," says De Nil, who spoke about November 1, but no longer makes any concrete statements. "Physically he is already in order, he gives everything to return quickly, he evolves well."
