GAMES Anderlecht won 4-2 against Cercle Brugge yesterday afternoon. Landry Dimata, who hadn't scored for Anderlecht for two months, scored the first three goals. It got exciting for a while when Cercle softened from 4-0 to 4-2 in five minutes.

Dimata had scored twice at the Belgian U21 last week and Vanhaezebrouck rewarded him with a place in the starting eleven. After eight minutes Anderlecht got a penalty after a foul on Bornauw, Dimata scored it. Also afterwards the Congolese Belgian remained a scourge for the Cercle defense. He scored a second time before half time.

Ten minutes after the break Dimata made his hat-trick. He had injured himself here and so Santini was allowed to come in. Immediately afterwards, Gerkens scored the 4-0. Anderlecht could not enjoy for long, as substitute Cardona scored twice in five minutes. That's it, and that's how Anderlecht got its second victory in a row. It approaches to three points of Club Brugge and six of leader Genk.
