GAMES Anderlecht have played 0-0 against STVV yesterday afternoon. Halfway through the first half, the visitors fell by ten after a red card for Ceballos, but that numerical superiority Anderlecht could not turn into a victory.

After the blamage against Union Anderlecht had something to put right, but that was not really visible. STVV created the most danger in the opening phase. A goal by Boli was rejected because he was offside and shortly afterwards the same Boli missed his header incomprehensible.

Halfway through the first half, Ceballos tackled Saelemaekers. After consulting the television images, referee Van Driessche took the only correct decision: red for Ceballos. With a man more Anderlecht parked on the half of STVV, but much more than ball possession it did not get.

There was no reaction after the break. It was only a quarter of an hour before time that a first big chance came, but Bakkali's shot ended besides the goal. The Moroccan Belgian was the most active and dangerous Anderlecht player. In the final minute of the added time, Santini was still close, but he couldn't score.
