Is Markovic on his way?

TRANSFERS According to Het Nieuwsblad, Lazar Markovic would be hired again from Liverpool. The Serb would currently be in Brussels to discuss his wage demands. There is already a deal with Liverpool. After the one-year loan, Markovic can sign freely (at Anderlecht or elsewhere).


Markovic was hired last season after New Year and showed his class in the playoffs. However, the player is also sensitive to injury, which raised doubts about a new agreement.

As the transfer deadline got closer, it became financially more attractive to rent the player again. Markovic was close to a transition to PAOK, but that does not seem to come. For the time being Anderlecht are again in pole position to win the player.
