Kompany reacts on the comments

Vincent Kompany responded on the comments: "I am sometimes a bit confused, not nonchalant", said the talented defender.


"I forgot my football shoes because I took my school bag in stead of my sport bag. Those two are nearly identical. And my tie? I was in the middle of moving out the house when I had to pack. It was in the wrong box."

He also has an explaination about the Adidas sport bag: "Everyone had a bag of a different brand mark. I don't know why people are making a problem of that. That way, the audience get a wrong picture of me."

"I was surprised though about the critisism and the irritation with the other Devils. The atmosphere in the group is good. But when people complain about such rediculous things, they probably don't have any bad remarks over the football I bring, right?"

But the defender isn't angry about the sportive critisism: "I accept that and I try to learn from my mistakes. People can forget that I'm only 18. They can judge me over the football I play, without looking at my age."
