Anderlecht offers Trebel five-year contract and raise

TRANSFERS At Anderlecht, a new five-year contract with a salary increase awaits Adrien Trebel. "We are charmed by this proposal", says his agent, but Trebel still waits. He still does not want to close the door for the Premier League.


According to his agent Nicolas Onissé, Trebel is on the list of some Premier League teams. Het Laatste Nieuws, however, learned that the Frenchman is not at the top of those lists. Nevertheless, Trebel wants to keep the option to move to England open. The transfer market closes there the day after tomorrow.

"We do not want to make any hasty decisions", says Onissé. "Adrien has respect for Anderlecht, but if he wants to aim higher in the future, he can not sign up for the time being, so he will become unaffordable, but that does not mean he will not sign, we just wait."

The current agreement between Trebel and Anderlecht is still running for three years.
