TRANSFERS In third place we find a third player who played for Celtic last year and the highest placed surprising name: Kristoffer Ajer.

Name: Kristoffer Ajer
Current club: Celtic
Position: Central defender / Central midfielder
Age: 20
Nationality: Noor
Market value *: € 800,000

History: Ajer exchanged the youth of Lillestrøm for the first team of IK Start in his home country in the summer of 2016.

Ajer became the youngest captain ever in the Norwegian first division. In two seasons, he was good for 54 games and eight goals as a midfielder.

In July 2016 he moved for 600,000 euros to Celtic, where he played mainly with the Reserves before New Year and was also active in the Youth League. In early 2017 he conquered a basic place in the main force, but he was transformed into a central defender.

Last season he played 34 games for Celtic, but he did not play a minute against Anderlecht. What makes your massive interest in Ajer strange. Ajer was also Norwegian international four times.

Profile: Ajer is 1m96, but in many ways an atypical giant. He runs a lot, works hard. He's fairly fast and because of his past as a midfielder also has a decent pass in the feet.

Feasibility: Celtic will not just let Ajer go and Ajer recently extended his contract. Nevertheless, the Belgian competition seems to be an ideal stop for a young player who wants to hit the Premier League from the Scottish league in the long run.

Priority? Kara, Dendoncker and Sa seem to be leaving Anderlecht this summer. So Anderlecht will certainly get one central defender. With all the left-footed Milic, Delcroix and Cobbaut at the core, that might be a right foot.

Luc Devroe said earlier this week that Anderlecht are looking for someone with speed and football skills. Check. He only said that it is ideally someone between 24 and 28. So Anderlecht may be looking for a more experienced defender.

Tomorrow: A former player from Anderlecht.
