GAMES Anderlecht have won their last friendly game of this preparation with 3-2 against Stade Rennes. Antonio Milic, Pieter Gerkens and Landry Dimata scored for the Purple & White. Negative were the two missed penalties and the exclusion of Ognjen Vranjes.

Anderlecht opened strongly. For fifteen minutes we saw high pressing, beautiful combinations between the lines and football that went fastly forward. This was rewarded with the opening goal of Milic. He nodded a corner kick from Trebel against the ropes. After this goal, the pace went down. Ten minutes later, Dimata got a good chance to double the score, but the French goalkeeper stopped his penalty. This kept it 1-0 at halftime.

Dimata put everything right afterwards. First he gave an assist for the 2-0 from Gerkens and shortly before the hour he scored with a header. In between, Trebel also missed a penalty and Rennes scored a goal. On the hour Vranjes had to go to the shower after a tough tackle. Only shortly before time Rennes scored again.
