Red Devils: Kompany as midfielder or defender?

Federal coach Aimé Anthuenis is still doubting about Kompany's position in the national team. "He can certainly play on the midfield, he's talented enough to overcome that new situation", said the coach.


"I have to choose between creativity on the midfield and speed in the defense." If Anthuenis puts Kompany as defender, Philippe Clement will play on the midfield and the other way around.

"Yes I prefer a certain position, but I'm not going to tell which one. I can even play as a striker if the trainer wants me to", said Kompany.
