Anderlecht at the Heysel?

OTHER There are plans on the table to renew the King Baudouin Stadium. Minister Didier Reynders sees possibly a role reserved for Marc Coucke, who often already dropped that he wants a new stadium for RSC Anderlecht.


It is doubtless of course whether Coucke is actually interested in it. He has been arguing for a stadium of his own without any additional activities. In addition, the athletics track would be kept so that the spectators are still reasonably far from the field.

"We have already had several meetings," says Reynders about the entire project, "There is room to renovate the stadium, we will see if Anderlecht is interested. I will contact Mr. Coucke."
