Easy win for Red Devils against Costa Rica

OTHER The Red Devils won their last game before the World Cup with 4-1. The Belgians only had to play well for 45 minutes.


After a disappointing first quarter, Bryan Ruiz (former AA Gent) scored for the visitors. The signal for Eden Hazard and co to play two gears higher.

Dries Mertens scored the equalizer, Romelu Lukaku scored the second and third goal.

Michy Batshuayi scored the 4-1 final score out of an assist of Lukaku.

In the final phase, Belgium slowed down and Leander Dendoncker and Youri Tielemans were allowed to come in.

The Devil's confidence will undoubtedly have received a boost. Next week Monday they start at the World Cup against Panama.
