Musona is perhaps the best known name that Anderlecht already got. In 2009, the South African Kaizer Chiefs got him from the Aces youth Soccer Academy in his home country.

In 2011 Hoffenheim brought him to Germany, he went a year on loan to Augsburg, where he played seventeen games. He also played seventeen matches in the following season. This time for Hoffenheim itself.

In the summer of 2013, 'Die Kraichgauer' decided that they no longer needed Musona. First they rented him a year to Kaizer Chiefs and in January 2015 they sold him to KV Oostende.
