OTHER Anderlecht has sent a lot of players on loan this season. Now that the season is over, we took some time to see how this season went for them and what we can expect from them next season. Today: Aaron Leya Iseka.

Age: 20
Contract until: 30 June 2020
Played last season for: Zulte Waregem
Games played:25
Minutes of play: 1342

Aaron Leya Iseka has been playing for Anderlecht since he was seven. With twelve goals in fifteen matches in the Uefa Youth League, he confirmed his status as top talent from 2013 to 2015. A strange loan to Olympic Marseille in the summer of 2016, however, stopped his progress.

This season he was on loan to Zulte Waregem, just like Idrissa Doumbia. At the Gaverbeek he quickly became a key player, with six goals in the league and two in the Europa League.

In the end, it was Anderlecht itself that caused that Leya Iseka lost his place by selling Hamdi Harbaoui to Zulte Waregem. Everyone saw the danger, outside the then purple-white board itself.

On the other hand, this also proves that Leya Iseka is not ready for Anderlecht yet. Zulte Waregem no longer wants to keep him, but he seems to be moving to Ostend next year on a loan basis.

Elder brother Michy Batshuayi exploded at the age of twenty. Leya Iseka is now also twenty. Will it be the big breakthrough of Aaron next season? Or is he just not good enough to make it at Anderlecht? You can respond under this article.
