"There's no discussion about Hugo Broos", that's what manager Herman Van Holsbeeck told after a meeting of the directory committee. "He will feel he gets all of our support, even if the fans scream at him."

"The coach is right when he tells some players play too individually. Christian Wilhelmsson is one of those players. Some players want to impress other teams, to get a transfer, but with their individual actions that won't work. Inter Milan showed how easy football can be."

"Things aren't going well at this moment, but I only evaluate the situation at the end of the season. One thing is sure: we have to reform the competition, we need more matches on a high level. Mbo Mpenza? He's in a bad shape now, but we can't blame him. We don't regret our transfer, nor our decision not to buy an extra defender. There won't come any reinforcement in January, our current team is good enough. And Vincent Kompany won't go away. There's only an agreement with Aruna that he can leave in every transfer period, under certain conditions."
