YOUTH Anderlecht have attracted the 16 year old Rousseau De Poorter for next season. This defender comes from the U17 of Lokeren and will be part of the new U18-team of purple-white. De Poorter is Belgian youth international.

De Poorter has African roots and grew up as an adopted child in Brachte-Maria-Leerne near Deinze. He started playing football at SK Deinze and in 2014 he went to Cercle Brugge. Two years later he made the switch to Lokeren and now to Anderlecht.

De Poorter is a central defender who can also play on the midfield. Born on October 1 he is part of the Belgian Future-team, but earlier this year he made his debut with the Belgian U17. With this team he took part in a tournament in Belarus.
