Belgian U17 to second round European Championship

YOUTH The Belgian U17 also won their second game at the European Championship in England. Against Bosnia-Herzegovina it became 4-0. The Belgian goals were scored by former Anderlecht-player Jamie Yayi Mpie (photo), Yorben Vertessen, an own-goal and Gabriël Lemoine.


Anderlecht-players Lucas Lissens, Loïc Masscho and Mathis Suray started in the starting eleven. Killian Sardella, Halim Timassi, Yari Verschaeren and Jeremy Doku started on the bench. After 64 minutes, it was already 0-3, Verschaeren replaced Suray.

After two games Belgium leads with six out of six. Ireland and Bosnia-Herzegovina each have three points. Denmark is pointless 4th. The Belgians still play against Denmark on Friday, but the second round is already a fact.
